Jonathan accepted Christ and was baptized in June 1989 at seven years of age. Shortly after this, his family moved to Shelby where they became members of Putnam. He began sensing God's call on his life at the age of 16 and began pursuing the means to accomplish that goal. He obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology at Liberty University in 2004 and a Master of Divinity Degree in Christian Ministry and Biblical Languages at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in May 2008. One month later Jonathan and his wife, Crystal began their ministry at Putnam. He believes that God has given him the unique opportunity as the Student Pastor who loves God, loves his family, and loves his church to impact students with God's Word in order for them to facilitate wise decisions and a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Jonathan and Crystal are expecting their first child in January 2009. |
