Gary joined the ministry team of Putnam as the Care Pastor in September 2006. An Ohio native (but now, after 3 years in North Carolina, a deeply rooted Southerner!), Gary calls Shelby his home. At the age of 16, Gary recognized his need of putting his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and what He did for him on the cross. The Lord led Gary to Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit, Pa. where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1984, majoring in Bible. Gary taught in Christian Schools until 1989 when the Lord called him into fulltime pastoral ministry. Gary has been in church ministry as well as chaplaincy ministry in the workplace, which is what God used to move Gary from Ohio to North Carolina in 2003. Gary, his wife, Heidi, and their three children, Josh, 21, Jeff, 19 and Jenn, 16 are active members of Putnam and believing God to do great and mighty things that ONLY HE can do through this local church ministry. |
